This feature allows the restaurant to set up a list of kitchens/bars and assign which items are prepared at each kitchen or bar. This ensures that chefs and bartenders receive the correct list of items to prepare when orders are sent from the POS to the kitchen/bar.
Default kitchen setup
The system is preconfigured with one default kitchen.
If the restaurant has only one kitchen, simply select this kitchen when setting up menu items such as food, beverages, combos, or other items.
Setting up multiple kitchens/bars
If the restaurant has multiple kitchens or bars, follow these steps:
Step 1:
Go to Categories → Kitchen.
Step 2:
Click Add, then select Add row to choose the items that will be prepared at this kitchen or bar.
Items assigned to a specific kitchen/bar will only be printed or displayed on the printer/device of that kitchen/bar when the order is sent.
