This feature allows restaurant staff to change item prices on POS devices if they have been granted permission by management.
Watch the tutorial here.
Step 1:
Go to Menu → POS Menu / Online Ordering.
Select the item you want to allow price adjustment for, then check Adjust price.
Step 2:
Grant the cashier the Adjust selling price permission.
When the cashier adds an item to an order, they can adjust the price as follows:
Step 1:
Select the item and click Adjust price.
Step 2:
Enter the new price and click Done.
Step 3:
Click Save to apply the new price.
Price adjustment is only supported for Regular items and Optional items configured on the management site. Combos are not supported.
When the price is adjusted for the first customer, subsequent customers will use this adjusted price.
If the cashier clicks Adjust price again, the change will apply only to that customer.
The item price will be officially updated after the cashier clicks Fire.
If an order has already been sent to the kitchen and the customer orders additional items afterward, the newly added items will use the original price, not the adjusted one.
If the cashier transfers the item to another order, the adjusted price is retained.
