Apply Activation Fee When Issuing Gift Cards

I. Purpose

This feature allows managers to apply an activation fee when issuing gift cards.

II. Instruction Steps

1. In the Management Portal

1. Go to System Settings → Location Settings.

2. Open the Purchase / Sale tab.

3. In Service Charge, click Edit.

4. Click Add Service Charge.

5. Enter the service charge details.

6. Enable Apply to Issue Gift Card.

7. (Optional) Enable Auto Apply to apply the fee automatically.

8. Click Save.

2. On the POS

1. Go to Settings.

2. Open the Service Charge tab.

3. Click Add Service Charge.

4. Enter the service charge details.

5. Enable Apply to Issue Gift Card.

6. (Optional) Enable Auto Apply When Order to apply the fee automatically.

7. Click Save.

✔ The activation fee will now be applied when issuing gift cards based on your settings.
