I. PURPOSE

Allows the restaurant to close out the PAX card terminal on the POS system at the end of a shift or at the end of the business day.


II. INSTRUCTION STEPS

Step 1

On the Management Portal, go to:
System Settings → Purchase/Sale


Step 2

In the Sales section:

Note:
Only Restaurant Manager and System Admin accounts are allowed to modify this setting and enable the Close Outfunction on the POS.


Step 3

Log in to the POS sales software and select Closeout.


Step 4

The system will display a list of all previous Close Out sessions.


Step 5

Select Opening to review and verify any open (unclosed) transactions, including:


Step 6

On the transaction detail screen, select Close out to close the PAX card terminal batch.


Step 7

(Optional)
Select Print total reports if you need a printed record for reconciliation or reporting purposes.


Close Out completed successfully!
Your PAX terminal batch is now closed and ready for the next shift or business day.
