Configuring employee login access

Set Up Employee Login Permissions

I. Purpose

The restaurant owner or manager can control employee login permissions for:

This ensures employees only have access to what they need.


II. Instruction Steps

1. Set Up on the Management Page

  1. Go to Utilities → Staff on the management page.

  2. Click Add to create a new employee.

  3. Configure login permissions:

    • Device:

      • Check this option if the employee is only allowed to log in on POS devices.

      • Enter a passcode.

    • Dashboard:

      • Check this option if the employee is allowed to log in to the management dashboard.

      • Enter a password.

  4. Click Save to apply the settings.


2. Set Up on POS

  1. On the POS, go to Employees.

  2. Click Add employee.

  3. Enter employee information.

  4. Configure login permissions:

    • Device:

      • Check this option to allow login on POS only.

      • Enter a passcode.

    • Dashboard:

      • Check this option to allow access to the management dashboard.

      • Enter a password.

  5. Click Done to save.


3. Change Passcode / Login Password

  1. On POS, go to Employees.

  2. Select the employee whose passcode or password needs to be changed.

  3. Click Change passcode.

  4. Enter the new passcode.

  5. Click Done to save the change.
