Allow the restaurant to apply multiple tax rates to a single menu item.
To apply taxes when selling, the restaurant needs to set up a list of tax rates as follows:
On the main screen, go to Settings.
Select Tax & Fee.
Under Tax on Goods & Services, click Add Tax Rate to quickly add a new tax rate.
In the Add Tax Rate form:
Enter the tax name and tax percentage.
Check Default if this tax should be applied by default.
Click Save.
Additionally, when setting up the menu, managers can:
Select one or multiple tax rates for an item, or
Choose no tax rate if the item is non-taxable.
Taxes are calculated after all promotions and discounts are applied.
The system does not limit the number of default tax rates and allows users to edit or delete any configured tax rate.
For items with variants, the selected tax rates apply to all variants of that item.
For combo items:
Taxes on individual items do not apply to the combo.
The system calculates tax for the combo as a single standalone item.
