I. PURPOSE

Allows the restaurant to connect the POS system to a Clover device and process customer orders and payments through Clover.

II. INSTRUCTION STEPS

1. Connect to a Clover Device

On the POS, select Settings.

In the Payment Terminal section, click the configuration icon to enable terminal settings.

Select Clover as the payment device.

Choose one of the following connection methods:

• Connect via USB, or

• Connect via TCP/IP

2. Configure Payments via Clover

Next, select the appropriate payment method based on how tips are handled:

• Authorize payment
  Select this option if the restaurant wants to enter tips after payment is processed.

• Sale payment
  Select this option if the restaurant wants to enter tips before payment is processed.

Notes

• If connecting CukCuk / botX POS to Clover via TCP/IP, you must ensure that WebSocket Server is set to “Secured (WSS)” on the Clover device.

• This setting is required to meet Clover’s security and data protection recommendations.

The POS system is now connected and ready to process payments through the Clover device.
