At some restaurants, near the end of the day certain items may still have high inventory. This feature allows the restaurant to apply item-level discounts to encourage customers to order those items.
Go to System settings → Role management.
Select the role you want to grant permission to.
In the Payment tab, check Add other discount.
Click Save.
When taking a new order, the cashier can apply a discount by tapping Discount on the item.
If a suitable discount program already exists, select it and click Apply.
The discount reason and amount will be displayed directly on the item.
For items already added to the order:
Tap the item and select Discount.
If no suitable discount exists, create a new one:
Check Free item to give the item for free, or
Select Discount and choose:
💲 Fixed amount discount, or
% Percentage discount
Click Apply to apply the discount.
Click the remove icon to cancel the discount, or click Save to store the discount program and apply it to the item.
Open the order that needs a discount.
Select Discount.
Choose an existing discount program or create a new one (same steps as above).
To remove a discount:
Tap the item and select Remove discount.
The system saves up to 3 most recently created discount programs.
