Delivery Orders (Customer Requests Delivery)


I. Purpose

This guide helps staff create and process delivery orders when customers call in to request food delivery, ensuring orders are prepared, packaged, and delivered correctly.


II. Steps

To create a delivery order, follow these steps:


Step 1: Create an Order

  1. On the POS main screen, under New Order, select Delivery.

  2. The system defaults the delivery date/time to today.

    • You can edit and select a different delivery time if needed.

  3. Select Customer to search for an existing customer
    or tap the add icon to quickly enter new customer information.

    • Tap Done to continue.

Notes

  1. Select the items the customer orders from the menu.

    • This process is the same as for dine-in orders.


Step 2: Send Items to the Kitchen / Bar

After entering delivery details, handle one of the following cases:


Step 3: Print Temporary Bill


Step 4: Payment


Step 5: Complete the Order

  1. Open the delivery order from the order list.

  2. Tap Pay on the left side of the screen (if not already paid).

  3. Complete the payment.

  4. Tap Done.

    • The order status changes to Completed.
