Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)


I. Purpose

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when signing in.


II. Instructions

1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

After signing in, the system will prompt you to enable 2FA.
You can choose one of the following authentication methods:


Option 1: Authenticate with Google Authenticator App

  1. Select Authentication via Google Authenticator app.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Download Google Authenticator from:

    • App Store (iOS)

    • Google Play Store (Android)

  4. Open the app, tap the “+” button, and choose Scan QR code.

  5. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen.

  6. Enter the 6-digit verification code shown in the app.

  7. Click Continue.

✔ Two-Factor Authentication via Google Authenticator is now enabled.

Note:
If you see an “Invalid code” message, wait for a new code to generate in the app and enter the new code.


Option 2: Authenticate via Email

  1. Select Authentication via email.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Enter your email address and click Send code.

  4. Check your email and enter the verification code you received.

  5. Click Continue.

✔ Two-Factor Authentication via email is now enabled.


2. Reconfigure 2FA Settings

You can update or change your 2FA settings at any time.

  1. Click your username and select Two-Factor Authentication.

  2. Enter your login password and click Continue.

  3. Choose one of the following actions:

    • Delete authentication method

    • Delete email

  4. Click Yes to confirm.

  5. Click Add email to register a new email address (if needed).
