This feature allows restaurants to import an existing customer list from an Excel file into the system. It is commonly used when a restaurant is newly setting up the POS and already has customer data stored in Excel.
To import a customer list, follow these steps:
Go to Utilities → Customers, then click Import.
Download the Excel template file as instructed.
Copy your existing customer list into the downloaded Excel template.
After completing the customer data:
Save the file.
Close the Excel file.
Click Choose File and select the completed Excel file.
Click Continue.
In the Data Validation step, the system will show:
The number of valid customers
The number of invalid customers
Invalid customer records will not be imported.
Click Import.
In the Import Results step, the system imports all valid customers and displays the import summary.
