Issue Gift Cards


I. Purpose

This feature allows the restaurant to issue and use gift cards, enabling customers to conveniently pay for purchases through the store’s POS system within a defined period of time.

III. Steps

1. Log in to the POS system

Log in using your account.

On the main screen, select Gift Card.

2. Enter gift card information

On the gift card form:

After completing the information, tap Add to Cart to save the issued gift card.

3. Issue multiple gift cards (optional)

After creating one gift card, you may continue issuing additional gift cards before proceeding to payment.

4. Edit gift card information (if needed)

Alphanumeric only, up to 36 characters. The system recognizes printed card codes.

Amount loaded onto the gift card

Up to 14 digits (including 2 decimal places). Value must be greater than 0.

After payment:


Notes

  1. To require a signature when issuing gift cards, enable this setting in the management portal:

    • Go to System Settings → General Settings → Purchase / Sale

    • Tap Edit

    • Enable Require cashier’s signature before transacting gift cards

    • Tap Save

  2. Gift cards cannot be used to pay for gift card-related transactions.

  3. Receipts can be printed only after full payment is completed.

  4. Taxes and fees are not applied when purchasing gift cards.

  5. Partial payments are not allowed.

    • If a payment is in progress and you return to the previous screen, the system displays:
      “The order must be fully paid. Please check again.”

  6. Only the Additional Promotion type can be applied when purchasing gift cards.

  7. Tips cannot be added when issuing gift cards.
