This feature allows the restaurant to issue and use gift cards, enabling customers to conveniently pay for purchases through the store’s POS system within a defined period of time.

Log in using your account.
On the main screen, select Gift Card.
Select the Issue tab.
The system displays the Gift Card Information form.
On the gift card form:
Enter the gift card Code manually,
or
Tap the QR Code icon to scan the gift card.
Enter the Top-up amount.
Select Unlimited or Limited validity.
The system defaults to Unlimited.
If you select Limited:
Choose the expiration time in days or months.
The default value is 30 days.
If switching from days to months, the numeric value remains the same.
The system automatically calculates and displays the expiration date.
After completing the information, tap Add to Cart to save the issued gift card.
After creating one gift card, you may continue issuing additional gift cards before proceeding to payment.
If any information is incorrect:
Tap the Edit icon on the right-hand panel to update the gift card details.
Tap Update to apply changes to the selected gift card shown on the left.
Gift card input requirements:
Field | Description | Format Requirements |
Code | Gift card code (manual entry or QR scan) | Alphanumeric only, up to 36 characters. The system recognizes printed card codes. |
Top-up | Amount loaded onto the gift card | Up to 14 digits (including 2 decimal places). Value must be greater than 0. |
Note:
If the gift card code has already been issued or used, the system displays the warning:
“The card number has been issued or used. Please check again.”
Tap Done to return to the previous screen. All entered information will remain unchanged.
Tap Pay to proceed to the payment screen.
Enter customer information and select any applicable promotion.
Choose a payment method (cash, card, etc.).
Capture the customer’s signature (if required).
Tap Pay to complete the transaction.
After payment:
Select a method to send the gift card information to the customer.
Tap Done to finish the transaction.
To require a signature when issuing gift cards, enable this setting in the management portal:
Go to System Settings → General Settings → Purchase / Sale
Tap Edit
Enable Require cashier’s signature before transacting gift cards
Tap Save
Gift cards cannot be used to pay for gift card-related transactions.
Receipts can be printed only after full payment is completed.
Taxes and fees are not applied when purchasing gift cards.
Partial payments are not allowed.
If a payment is in progress and you return to the previous screen, the system displays:
“The order must be fully paid. Please check again.”
Only the Additional Promotion type can be applied when purchasing gift cards.
Tips cannot be added when issuing gift cards.
