Managing Payment Methods

Purpose

Explain how managers configure payment methods and how cashiers use them during checkout.

A. Configure Payment Methods (Manager)

1. Go to Back Office → Categories → Payment Methods

2. Review available payment methods:

   • Other Card (editable name & description)

   • Venmo / PayPal / Zelle (fixed name, editable description)

3. Set payment methods to Active or Inactive

   • Only Active methods appear on POS

B. Reorder Payment Methods

• Use Up / Down arrows to prioritize commonly used methods

• The top 3 appear as buttons on the POS payment screen

• Remaining methods appear under “Other”

C. Use Payment Methods on POS (Cashier)

1. On the payment screen, select the customer’s payment method

2. Tap Pay to complete the transaction
