Manage Device List

I. Purpose

This feature helps restaurant owners and managers manage the list of devices used in daily operations, making it easier to monitor, maintain, and disable devices when needed.

II. Instruction Steps

  1. On the management page, go to System Settings → Role Management.

  2. The system provides an additional permission called Access Device List for roles.

  3. In the Assign Role section, a new Device tab will appear.

    • Select View and Edit permissions.

    • Click Save to apply the changes.

  4. After permissions are granted, a new menu item Subscription → Devices will appear in the navigation menu.

    • Managers can view the list of devices, sorted from the most recently logged-in device to the oldest.

    • From this page, managers can edit device information, review details, or disable POS devices.


Device Information Overview

The table below describes the information displayed for each device that has successfully connected to the server:

Description

1. Device Type

Displays the type of device connected to the server

2. Device Name

Displays the device name assigned by the provider

Note: Duplicate device names are not allowed. If a duplicate name is detected, the system will show a warning: “Device name already exists.”

When editing a device name, the system suggests a name using the following format: DeviceName_Index

Example: If a restaurant already has a device named Tablet A2, the next device will be suggested as Tablet A2_2.

3. Model

Displays the device model information

4. Device ID

Displays a unique numeric identifier for the device

5. IP Address

Displays the network IP address (read-only)

6. Version

Displays the version of botX POS Sales running on the device

7. MAC Address

Displays the physical network address of the device

8. Serial Number

Displays a unique serial number used to identify the device

9. IMEI

Displays a 15-digit mobile device identification number (unique per device)

10. Hardware Code

Displays the hardware ID of the device

11. Connection Date

Displays the date when the device first logged in to the restaurant domain

12. Activation Date

Displays the date when the device was activated

13. Notes

Free-text field, up to 256 characters
