To help restaurants quickly process transactions when a customer’s card has an issue or the card reader cannot receive or process a payment request.
To perform Add Payment Manually, the restaurant must enable PAX Terminal configuration in Settings → Payment Terminal.
In the restaurant POS application, select Sale to enter the payment amount.
Enter the payment amount and tip amount.
The system displays suggested tip amounts based on the preset configuration.
Select a tip amount and tap Done.
Select a payment method:
The system sends the payment amount to the card terminal to process the transaction.
If the transaction is successful, the screen displays “Sale successfully.”
If the card terminal fails to charge the card or the payment request is unsuccessful, the system displays “Sale Failed.”
Tap Cancel to return to the amount entry screen and retry the transaction.
The system opens a form to manually enter card information, including:
Card number
CVV
Expiration date
ZIP code
Tap Enter to submit the transaction.
If the transaction is successful, the screen displays “Sale successfully.”
If the customer wants to add a tip:
Tap Add Tips
Enter the additional tip amount
Tap Done to complete the transaction.
