Mark an Item as To-Go

I. Purpose

This feature allows staff to mark specific items in a dine-in order as To-Go, so the kitchen knows the item should be packed for takeaway.

II. Instruction Steps

On the order details screen:

1. Click the item you just added in the order list on the left.

2. Select Mark as “To-go”.

3. Click Save.

After saving, the order details screen will display “To-go” under the selected item.

III. Notes

• This option is only available for Dine-in orders and items that have not been sent to the kitchen/bar.

• If the item is:

  • moved to another order,

  • moved to another guest, or

  • merged into another order
    → the “Mark as To-go” setting remains applied.

• If the order type is changed (for example, from Dine-in to To-go or Delivery), the system will hide the “Mark as To-go” option for that item.
