This method is used when customers want to pay for each individual item separately.
On the POS order screen, select the items ordered by the customer from the menu groups.
Tap Pay.
Select Split by items.
The system will divide the bill by items (by default, the split is based on the number of items).
Choose the payment method and proceed to pay for each portion.
Enter the tip amount and tap Pay.
Select Next Payment to continue processing payment for the next portion of the bill.
After payment is completed, the cashier can choose to:
Print Receipt for the customer
Add tip (if the customer wants to add more gratuity)
Send Receipt via SMS to the customer
Then tap Done to close the order.
The cashier can select individual portions or multiple portions to process payment at the same time.
When Split by items is selected, the system does not allow switching to:
Pay full amount
Split by guest
Split custom amount
