Process Orders When Customers Order at the Table (QR Ordering)


I. Purpose

This feature allows dine-in customers to place orders directly at the table using their mobile phones, without waiting for a server.


II. Steps

An effective QR Ordering workflow consists of two main steps:

  1. The customer places an order using QR Ordering

  2. The cashier confirms the order and serves the customer


Step 1: Customer Places an Order via QR Ordering

After the restaurant enables QR Ordering, customers can scan the QR code at their table to access the ordering page.

To place an order, the customer follows these steps:

  1. Scan the table QR code on the standee at the restaurant.

    • The system opens the Menu Selection screen, allowing customers to order on their own.

  2. Enter the customer name when prompted.

    • Tap Done to continue.

  3. Select the desired menu items.

    • Customers can tap items to add them to the order.

  4. (Optional) Use the Search icon to find menu items by name.


Step 2: Cashier Confirms the Order and Serves the Customer

After the customer submits the order:
