This feature allows restaurants to receive and process orders from third-party delivery platforms, including DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats.
To configure order handling for delivery platforms, follow these steps:
In the management portal, go to Settings → Order Settings.
Click Edit.
Configure the following options as needed:
Set average time for food preparation
Set the average time the kitchen/bar needs to prepare food and drinks.
Default is 30 minutes. You can adjust this to match your restaurant’s actual preparation time.
Automatically confirm orders
By default, the system automatically confirms all orders.
If you do not want automatic confirmation, uncheck this option.
If you want to auto-confirm only paid orders, select Paid orders.
Automatically send the order to the kitchen
By default, orders are not sent automatically to the kitchen.
Enable this option if you want orders to be sent automatically, then choose one of the following:
Right away when the order is confirmed
→ Send the order to the kitchen immediately after confirmation.
30 minutes (food preparation time) before the desired pick-up time
→ Send the order to the kitchen 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Add a buffer time
→ Add extra preparation time on top of the default 30 minutes.
Example: If you enter 30 minutes, the order will be sent to the kitchen 70 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Click Save to apply the settings.
✔ Once configured, botX POS will automatically handle incoming orders from DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats according to your selected workflow.
