This applies when a customer wants to pay the bill in multiple payments using different payment methods.
On the POS order screen, select the items ordered by the customer from the menu groups.
Tap Pay.
When the customer requests to pay using multiple payment methods, the cashier proceeds as follows:
If the amount the customer pays is less than the remaining balance:
Select Custom.
The system displays a form to enter the payment amount.
Enter the amount and tap Done.
Tap Pay.
If there is still a remaining balance, the cashier can continue payment by:
Selecting Next payment, or
Tapping Pay more later to complete the payment at a later time.
After the payment is fully completed, the cashier can choose to:
Print Receipt for the customer
Add tip (if the customer wants to add gratuity)
Send Receipt via SMS to the customer
Then tap Done to close the order.
For each payment transaction, the cashier is allowed to Add tip, but printing a receipt is not allowed when partially paying by Guest / Item / Cover.
For bills paid in multiple parts while using Cover / Guest / Item split:
After tapping Next payment, the system will automatically focus on the selected Cover / Guest / Item.
The cashier cannot process payment for other Covers / Guests / Items until the selected one is fully paid.
Once payment for the selected Cover / Guest / Item is completed, the cashier can proceed to pay the remaining portions.
