This applies when customers share common dishes and also have individual items, so each customer pays for their portion of shared items plus their own dishes.
On the POS Order screen, select the items ordered by customers from the menu categories.
Click Pay.
Select Split by guest.
The system will automatically split the bill among guests.
Choose the preferred payment method from the options configured by the restaurant.
Enter the tip amount, then click Pay.
Select Next Payment to proceed with payment for the next guest.
Once all payments are completed, the cashier can choose one of the following options:
Print Receipt for the customer
Add tip (if the customer wants to add additional gratuity)
Send Receipt via SMS to the customer
Click Done to close the order.
The cashier can select one or multiple guests to process payment at the same time.
When Split by guest is selected, the order cannot be switched to:
Pay full amount
Split custom amount
Split by item
