This applies when customers want to split the total bill evenly into multiple portions.
On the POS Order screen, select the items ordered by the customers from the menu categories.
Click Pay.
Select Split custom amount.
The system will display the number of portions to split.
By default, the system splits based on the number of guests, and allows increasing or decreasing the number of portions.
Choose the preferred payment method from the options configured by the restaurant.
Enter the tip amount, then click Pay.
Select Next Payment to proceed with the payment for the next portion.
Once all payments are completed, the cashier can choose one of the following options:
Print Receipt for the customer
Add tip (if the customer wants to add more gratuity)
Send Receipt via SMS to the customer
Click Done to close the order.
The cashier can select one or multiple portions to process payment.
If the cashier adjusts the number of split portions based on customer request, the number of portions cannot be increased after the first payment is completed.
When Split custom amount is selected, the order cannot be switched to:
Pay full amount
Split by guest
Split by item
