Device Requirements:
The botX POS – Sales application runs on all Android tablets that meet the following requirements:
Android operating system version 5.0 or higher
Recommended tablet devices:
Minimum screen size of 7 inches
(A 10-inch tablet is recommended for better display and usability)
Amazon Fire HD 8 and Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet models
For restaurants, tablets are one of the most commonly used operational devices. They improve the sales process, enhance the customer experience, and help increase efficiency and profitability.
Tablets provide the fastest way to process restaurant orders, making it much easier for servers by eliminating the need for pen and paper. Customer orders can be completed in just seconds:
Expand service coverage throughout the restaurant with the convenience of tablet-based ordering
Quickly add menu items to orders and send them directly to the kitchen or bar, improving efficiency and reducing wait times
Track employee working hours, breaks, and overtime on a daily basis
Before using a tablet, ensure the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network and that all required system settings have been properly configured.
Restaurant staff will use tablets to handle sales operations. Follow these steps to install the app:
Ensure the tablet is connected to a secure Wi-Fi network and a power source
Open Google Play and search for the botX POS – Sales app
After installation, you can log in to start processing sales.
(The system automatically updates to the latest version when available.)
To log in to the app, follow these steps:
Open the botX POS – Sales app on your tablet.
On the restaurant login screen:
Manually enter the IP address, or
Tap the Quick Select IP icon to connect automatically
Click NEXT to continue.
Note:
If this is the first time the device is being used, you must activate the device on the management page.
