Take-out Customers (To-go)
This feature helps staff take and record orders when customers request take-out.
To take an order for a take-out customer, the cashier performs the following steps:
Select the To-go service type.
On the order screen, enter the customer information. Then tap Done.
Tap the items ordered by the customer in the menu list.
Each tap corresponds to one serving.
If the customer orders multiple servings, tap the quantity field next to the item to enter the amount quickly.
If the customer has special requests for an item, tap the item or tap the Note icon to record the request.
If applying a discount or offering a free item, tap the corresponding icon to apply it.
Note: If an item is entered incorrectly, tap the icon next to the item to cancel it.
After completing the order details, tap the icon to send the item list to the Kitchen/Bar for preparation.
If the customer requests immediate payment, tap the icon. The system will automatically send the order to the Kitchen/Bar for preparation and print the receipt for the delivery staff.
Open the order and select the To-go screen.
When it is close to the customer’s pickup time, tap the icon to search for orders that require payment in the order list.
Then tap Pay.
Tap the icon to select and apply promotion programs.
Enter the tip amount provided by the customer.
Select a payment method:
If the customer pays immediately by cash or card, select the corresponding payment method and enter the amount received or choose from the system’s suggested amounts.
If the customer pays using a Gift Card, tap the icon and enter the customer’s card information.
If the restaurant has enabled advance payment for To-go and Delivery orders with a minimum order value, the order screen will display a Hold button, allowing the cashier to save the order before delivery.
If the restaurant uses numeric item codes, staff can quickly record items using the PLU (Price Look-Up) function. Refer to the detailed instructions here.
