Take Orders for Customers
This feature helps cashiers enter customer orders into the system in the following cases:
Customers dining in
Customers ordering takeout
Customers requesting delivery
This allows the restaurant to manage orders effectively and process payments quickly when customers are ready to check out.
To take orders for customers, the restaurant should note the following settings:
Enable table number display:
Go to System settings / General settings / Purchase & Sale and enable Use table number tents.
Enable holding items before sending to the kitchen:
Go to System settings / General settings / Purchase & Sale and enable Advance payment is applied to To-go, Delivery with the Order value from
(applies to To-go and Delivery orders).
Service type | Description |
Dine-in | Allows staff to take orders when customers are seated at tables |
To-go | Allows staff to take and manage takeout orders |
Delivery | Allows staff to take delivery orders for packing and dispatching to customers |
