Timekeeping

I. Purpose

This feature allows restaurants to set up and use timekeeping to track and manage employee working hours, including:

III. Instruction Steps

3.1. Set Up Timekeeping on the Management Website

Step 1:
Log in to the management page using your account.

Step 2:
From the navigation menu, select Timekeeping and click Activate.

Step 3:
Go to the Settings tab.
The system includes default settings. If your restaurant’s workflow is different, you can customize these options.
Click Save to apply changes.

Step 4:
Go to the Timekeeping tab to view time records for all employees.

Note:
You can only view timekeeping data for a maximum of 1 month (31 days).
If a longer range is selected, the system will show this warning:
“Your date range cannot exceed a month. Try a smaller range.”

Step 5:
Update timekeeping data if needed.

Step 6:
Click the History icon to view the edit history of timekeeping records for all employees.


3.2. Employee Clock-In and Clock-Out

3.2.1. Clock In

Employees can clock in as follows:

Case 1: “Remind employees to clock in” is enabled

Case 2: “Remind employees to clock in” is not enabled

3.2.2. Clock Out

At the end of the shift, employees follow the same steps to Clock Out.

Timekeeping is also supported on the Tablet POS app, with the same steps as on PC POS.


IV. Notes

Website Settings Description

  1. Remind employees to clock in
    Displays a prompt after employees log in to POS, reminding them to clock in.

  2. Use the tablet’s camera to capture employees during clock-in/clock-out
    Allows the restaurant to record employee images when they clock in or out.

  3. Don’t keep time records for selected accounts
    Allows managers to exclude certain employees from timekeeping records when they log in to POS or the app.
