This feature helps restaurant managers track inventory quantities for menu items and handle discrepancies when stock differences are found (if any).
To track inventory quantities, follow these steps:
Menu → Menu POS / QR Ordering
Item tracking can be applied to:
Regular items
Items with variants
Combos
Open the item and go to Item tracking.
Check Available.
Select Item count / Add stock and enter the current stock quantity.
This quantity is used to track how many items are sold.
Click Save.
After saving:
The system defaults to Manually manage availability.
Managers can switch to another management mode if needed.
Stock adjustment (optional):
During inventory checks, if items are damaged, lost, or missing:
Go to the Remove stock tab.
Enter the quantity to deduct.
Click Save.
Note:
Inventory tracking is not currently supported for items inside a combo.
Once item tracking is enabled:
An additional Stock Quantity column appears in the item list.
This makes it easier to monitor and search inventory levels.
Quick edits:
Use Quick edit to quickly update stock quantities directly from the item list.
You can also filter items by enabling the Item tracking filter to show only tracked items.
The setup process is similar to Regular items.
However, the system allows you to set separate stock quantities for each variant (e.g., size or flavor).
