Standard Ordering

I. Purpose

Helps staff record menu items into an order when customers place a standard food or drink order.

II. Instruction Steps

Step 1: Create the order

• Tap on an item to add it to the order.
  → Each tap equals one serving.

• To add multiple servings quickly, tap the Quantity field of the item in the order panel and enter the number.

Quick item search (PLU):

• Tap the keyboard / PLU icon to use numeric input.

• Enter items using the formula:
  Quantity × Item code

Example:
Customer orders 2 Avocado Smoothies with item code 041
→ Enter: 2*041

Step 2: Send items to Kitchen/Bar

• Tap Fire to send items to the kitchen/bar.

A scheduling window will appear:

• Select a preconfigured serving time to quickly send items.

• Choose Custom if the kitchen preparation time differs from the default setup.

• Tap Fire now to send all items immediately.

• Click Save to confirm.

Result

Depending on the restaurant setup:

• Items will appear on the Kitchen/Bar tablet, or

• Be printed automatically via the kitchen printer.

This process ensures fast order entry, accurate preparation timing, and smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen in botX POS.
