Re-adding Items That Have Already Been Sent to the Kitchen

I. Purpose

Previously, after items were sent to the kitchen, if a customer wanted to reorder the same item, staff had to search for the item again in the menu and re-enter any notes.
To save time, the system now allows staff to quickly re-add items that have already been sent to the kitchen.

II. Instruction Steps

On the PC/POS:

  1. Reopen the customer’s order.

  2. Click on the item the customer wants to order again.

  3. Select Order more.

The re-added item will:

If the item needs to be assigned to a different guest, press and hold the item and drag it to the desired guest within the table.

  1. Click Fire to send the newly added item to the kitchen.
