Previously, after items were sent to the kitchen, if a customer wanted to reorder the same item, staff had to search for the item again in the menu and re-enter any notes.
To save time, the system now allows staff to quickly re-add items that have already been sent to the kitchen.
On the PC/POS:
Reopen the customer’s order.
Click on the item the customer wants to order again.
Select Order more.
The re-added item will:
Retain all original notes
Be added to the correct guest who originally ordered it
If the item needs to be assigned to a different guest, press and hold the item and drag it to the desired guest within the table.
Click Fire to send the newly added item to the kitchen.
