This feature allows staff to send the entire order to the kitchen along with the serving sequence (appetizer – main course – dessert), so the kitchen knows the correct order in which dishes should be prepared and served.
Go to System settings → Location settings.
Select Purchase/Sale.
In the Sale tab, click Edit.
Enable Use the course firing feature and select By course.
Click Course firing settings to configure serving courses.
By default, the system provides 4 serving courses.
Click on each course to assign item categories to that course.
The restaurant can rename courses to match actual serving terminology.
Courses can be added (Add row) or deleted (Delete row).
Each item category can be assigned to only one course.
When items are added to an order, they are automatically assigned to the course based on the configuration above.
To change the serving course:
Press and hold the item and drag it to the desired course, or
Click the three-dot (⋮) icon and select Move to other course.
Select the target course and click Done.
The item will now be moved to the selected course.
