This feature allows managers to configure order taking by seat, enabling staff to record orders per individual seat at a table and process payments separately if needed.
On the management page, go to
System settings → Location settings.
Open the Sales tab and click Edit.
Enable By seat as a default order taking method.
Click Save.
Go to System settings → Layout.
Click Edit and select a table.
Under Seat naming pattern, choose:
Numeric (Seat 1, Seat 2, …), or
Alphabet (Seat A, Seat B, …).
Click Save.
Repeat these steps for other tables as needed.
Click Quick settings.
Enter the required information.
Select the seat naming pattern (Numeric or Alphabet).
Click OK.
When taking an order, staff can:
Add items for the entire table, or
Assign items to specific seats.
This helps clearly distinguish each guest’s order.
At checkout, click Split by seat.
Select the customer and their corresponding seat.
Click Pay to complete payment for that seat.
