How to Quickly Enter Items Using Numeric Item Codes (PLU)

Purpose

Restaurants that use numeric item codes (PLU) can enter customer orders much faster without searching through long item names.

How to Use

1. On the Order Entry screen, enable the Numeric Keyboard / PLU input.

2. Enter items using the following formula:

   Quantity × Item Code

   Example:
   A customer orders 2 plates of Fried Tofu with item code 057
   → Enter: 2*057

3. The system will automatically add the correct item and quantity to the order.
